What exactly is a bidet shattaf? Simply put, it is a small, hand-held nozzle that is attached to a hose and used to spray water for personal cleansing after using the toilet. The shattaf is typically located next to the toilet, and it can be used in addition to or instead of toilet paper.
Using a bidet shattaf is fairly straightforward. Once you have finished using the toilet, you can pick up the nozzle and aim it at your private area. The water spray can be adjusted to your preferred temperature and pressure, and you can use your free hand to guide the water where it is needed. When you are finished, simply put the nozzle back in its holder and wash your hands as normal.
